Eating or drinking organic food or drinks means respecting and protecting the areas where the raw material is grown and processed. Not only does organic farming free the soil from the stress caused by the use of chemical fertilisers or accelerated production cycles, but it respects the soil in all their phases, enhancing its peculiarities: deciding to also create an organic range in coffee means embracing and sharing this philosophy as much as possible in search of authentic and genuine flavours.
Organic Mokarico coffee is the result of years of research and continuous development: it is a 100% Arabian blend, made up of only two origins: Mexico and Nicaragua, both from small producers which respect the discipline of organic farming. The washed coffee enhances the acidity, floral and fresh fruit aromas and fresh aromatic notes, to the "detriment" of a less marked sweetness compared to natural coffees, certainly rounder in taste, but less sophisticated as an aroma. Our coffee, thanks to medium roasting, manages to enhance the aromatic and retro olfactory aspect while maintaining the round and velvety body of Italian espresso: at olfactory level, aromas of ripe fruit, almond and citrus hints abound. When drinking, the round body exalts notes of caramel, sweet malt and ripe cherry. The finish is clean and intense with notes of grapefruit and bitter cocoa.
